This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
The Yubari was a light cruiser, like an experimental ship, deploying the striking power of a 5,500-ton light cruiser; she was built by the Hiraga Shipbuilding Office on a compact hull. Completed in 1923, she was active in the Battle of Savo Island, the beginning of the Pacific War, and was engaged in many missions before she met her end in April 1944.
This model kit from Pit-Road can be assembled as a waterline or full-hull version; it reproduces her appearance on her last sortie, with refurbished anti-aircraft and anti-submarine equipment such as a 12cm single high-angle gun, 25mm triple, single machine gun, No. 22 electric probe, depth charge drop rail, and more with new parts.
- [Size]: 19.9cm long when completed
