This is  an injection-plastic ship model kit.

The CV-8 Hornet was commissioned in 1941 as the third of the Yorktown-class aircraft carriers.  In the following year, 16 B-25 Mitchell bombers of the Army Air Corps were loaded, and the first raid on the mainland was made successful by departing from near Japan; she was wrecked and sunk in the South Pacific, making her the last American fleet carrier to be sunk by enemy fire.

Can be built as a full-hull or waterline model; includes parts for a display base, a clear plastic water-textured base for diorama display, decals, photo-etched parts, and a selection of aircraft molded in clear plastic, listed below.

  • [Mold Color]: Gray, red, clear, black
  • [Includes]: Parts for display base, water-texture diorama base, decals, photo-etched parts

[Aircraft]:

  • B-25 Mitchell (x16)
  • F4F Wildcat (x12)
  • SBD Dauntless (x12)
  • TBD Devastator (x12)
