This is a ship model kit assembled from parts made of resin, white metal, photo-etched metal and possibly other materials.

This kit comes with just about everything you need to build a fantastic diorama of a Knox-class frigate! Includes the kit itself, extensive photo-etched parts, new decals and a stunning exclusive resin wave base to display the ship at sea. A ship-mounted SH-2 Seasprite helicopter is also included.
