The VF-171, the successor to the VF-17 that appeared in both "Macross Frontier" and "Macross Delta," is now available in its Special Mission Heavy Variable Fighter model, featuring the New United Nations Government specifications. This snap-fit plastic model kit requires no adhesive and is sized at the standard scale of 1/72, suitable for air model enthusiasts.

Under the supervision of Director Kawamori, we have meticulously recreated the unique nose shape of the VF-171EX and emphasized its form in Fighter mode. The kit includes the medium-range anti-air missile Bifors AAMM-05D, the FXA-60A high-speed armor-piercing rocket 6-pack pod, and the short-range high-mobility anti-air missile L.A.I/AAMS-02A triple pack.
