Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/72 scale F/A-18C kit with decals to mark it as the 2009 VFA-192 "Golden Dragons" CAG bird. Includes decals for the blue sections of the scheme, or you can paint these areas yourself and use the alternate yellow-only decals for the lettering. See box photo or art for marking details.
VFA-192, known as the Golden Dragons, is a squadron that was established on March 26, 1945. They have been active in World War II, the Korean Conflict, the Vietnam Conflict, Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom. Currently the Squadron flies the F/A-18C Hornet, is stationed at NAS Lemorrre and attached to Carrier Air Wing 9. This Limited Edition Hasegawa kit has 82 parts and decals to model the following aircraft: U.S. Navy U.S.S. George Washington VFA-192 "Golden Dragons" CAG Code: NF300, December, 2009.
