This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The EA-6 is a dedicated electronic jamming aircraft, whose redesign of the A-6 Intruder was planned by the U.S. Navy since 1964; mass production began in 1969. Unit deployment began in 1971, and it served in the Vietnam War and the Gulf War. The U.S. Navy retired this aircraft in 2015, and the U.S. Marine Corps retired it in 2019.
